The one thing that you will realize as soon as you arrive in Puerto Rico is that people like to eat and have fun. Here in Puerto Rico culinary delights are taken seriously and there are numerous restaurants serving up mouth watering food embracing the cuisine from around the world. Along with the usual chain restaurants found in any state in America, Puerto Rico has plenty of choices when it comes time to eat.
Recently I had dinner at Ajili Mojili, located in the Condado district of San Juan. This was not my first visit to the restaurant, but it was my first visit to this new location. The new location is much bigger than the previous location and the décor is modern in an old San Juan style. The waiters are still as attentive as ever and the food is still superb. They have a large menu of local Puerto Rican cuisine ranging from mofongo to stuffed Cornish hens. If you want to have a taste of local food then Ajili Mojili is well worth a visit.
