Poza del Obispo
A hidden treasure, Poza Del Obispo is a natural pool formed by two limestone outcrops. The pool is well protected from the waves, its turquoise water and soft sand make it a great spot for families/

Cuevo Del Indio
Cueva del Indio is said to contain the largest number of petroglyphs in the region and was designated a Natural Reserve in 1992. Currently the ladder that allowed visitors to descend into the cave has been removed, so unfortunately there is no easy way to view the petroglyphs. Even so the views from the rocks are amazing.
Cueva Ventana
Cueva Ventana is one of the top attractions when visiting Arecibo. Cueva Ventana gets its name from the window shaped opening that visitors discover after their trek through the cave. The cave opens up to amazing views of the valley below and makes for a perfect photo opportunity.
Arecibo Observatory
Renowned worldwide, Arecibo Observatory is one of the largest radio telescopes that is currently fully operational. The observatory made the discovery of the first binary pulsar and has also been seen in Hollywood blockbusters; “Contact” and “GoldenEye”. Visitors today can enjoy interactive exhibits highlighting the observatory’s role in the world of science.
Cambalache Forest Park
The Cambalache Forest Park is operated by the Departamento de Recursos Naturales y Ambientales (DRNA) and features walking trails, mountain bike trails along with a variety of bird life.
Arecibo Lighthouse Park
The focal point of the Arecibo Lighthouse Park is the neoclassical lighthouse that was built by the Spaniards in 1898. The lighthouse sits high above the park and offers amazing views of the Arecibo coastline and surrounding areas. The park itself is a great place for families to visit with miniature replicas of Spanish ships, a Taino Village, small aquarium and a mini water park.
Casa Ulanga
Built around 1954 Casa Ulanga has been home to various entities from the home of a high ranking Spanish conquistador, a hospital, city hall, courthouse and jail. Today Casa Ulanga is home to the Cultural Center of Arecibo
