The Aerostatic Balloon Ride

Your adventure starts with the serene yet exhilarating aerostatic balloon ride. A one of a kind ride here in Puerro Rico and only one of 20 in the world. The Globo Aerostático in Jayuya is tethered to the ground and filled with helium, standing 100 feet tall and 98 feet in diameter. The acrtual ballon is located 32000 feat above sea level and flies to a height of 3700 feet, when in full flight.

Once airborne you will have 360 degree panoramic views of the lush green mountains, sprawling valleys, and crystal-clear rivers create that surround Jayuya. The balloon can accommodate up to 30 people and the ride lasta aproximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Ziplines at the Aerostatic Balloon

Jayuya ziplines are the highest in the Caribbean, situated at an impressive 3,200 feet above sea level. This adventure includes rides on three different ziplines, offering breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views. The ziplines range in length from 2,165 to 1,443 feet, providing a thrilling experience.

  • Restautant & Food Kiosks: In the parking area there is a food kiosk and canteen and in the Aerostatic Balloon and Zipline area there is a restaurant and a frappe kiosk.

  • Location & Hours: The Aerostatic Balloon and Ziplines are located at 530 KM 0.2 in the Barrio Mameyes, Jayuya. They are open Wednesday to Sunday 9am – 5pm weather permitting. Tel: 787-304-0813
  • Bring a camera: The views from the balloon ride and ziplines are amazing, so don’t forget your camera.
  • Bring a jacket: The temperature will be a lot cooler on the balloon ride and ziplines, so a light jacket or sweater is recommended.
