Caribe Hilton ReopensThe Caribe Hilton, one of Puerto Rico’s most iconic hotels is set to REOPEN May 15, 2019 after a $150 million-dollar restoration following the damage sustained from Hurricane Maria.

The restorations at the 910-room property. include a top-to-bottom makeover of contemporary guest rooms and suite renovations; reimagined food & beverage concepts; fitness center, spa, tennis center and landscaping re-designs; and 65,000 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor event space modernization. The hotel also boasts 17 acres of tropical gardens, a secluded beach, oceanfront swimming pools and a children’s club

Distinguished for being a landmark and pioneer of hospitality in Puerto Rico, Caribe Hilton has been home to many innovations and industry firsts including being the first-ever hotel operated by Hilton outside of the continental United States and being named the birthplace of the piña colada.
