Domes Beach in Rincon will again host the most important professional surfing competition in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean; The Corona Pro Surf Circuit
The 36 edition of the Corona Pro Surf Circuit that will take place at Domes Beach from March 13 to 15, 2020. Porta del Sol and the municipality of Rincón will receive thousands of attendees and sports fans for a weekend long surfing event
The action in the water begins on March 13 at noon with the participants in the warm-up followed by the competition to qualify from 7am. Saturday, March 14 and will run until Sunday with the round of 16 and the grand final.
Organizers are expecting more than 60 surfers to participate with champions collecting prizes of $ 10,000 in the first place and $ 4,500 in the second places, in keeping with the “equal gender pay” which has motivated the registration of athletes from other countries.
The Corona Pro Surf Circuit will feature areas of interest within the Surf Village and a wide range of artisans, gastronomy, “Save the Beach Puerto Rico” and the opportunity to be portrayed with the distinctive Corona Volky.
“Better World” will have its educational talks to encourage recycling, taking care of the dunes and natural resources. The Corona Loft with offer lots of entertainment, “jangueo” and music and the Corona Spot, an area of ??Corona beach umbrellas where you can book one of them by presenting the beer at the entrance.
“True to its commitment to the environment Corona will have the Better World area where educational talks will be given on how to contribute to the preservation of beaches in Puerto Rico. As usual, event attendees will be able to buy brand items to help the Save the Beach Puerto Rico program, which raises funds for the execution of dune preservation and beach cleaning projects. You can also get brand items by presenting Crowns at the entrance, ”said Joseph Magruder, brand director.
To continue with the Corona experience, different activities will be carried out around various businesses in Rincon, Añasco and surrounding areas under the concept of Surf Town. Live music and bands will join Sunsets Hours events from Friday through Sunday to offer a weekend full of experiences during the day and in the evenings.
