If you are here in Puerto Rico now or before the end of March; you might want to head to the west coast to catch a glimpse of the endangered Humpback Whale. From December through March (with February being the best time), these magnificent mammals head here from Greenland and Newfoundland. One of the best places to see the whales (from what I have read) is from the Rincon Lighthouse park. I am sure there will also be some local boat owners who will be offering trips to catch a glimpse (but so far I have not found any information on this). Good luck watching.
