The majority of COVID-19 mandates have been lifted as of March 10, 2022 and the island is starting to see a lopt of the regular festivals and events return. Some of the highlights for March include: the Feria Agrícola Nacional del Valle de Lajas, La Ruta de La China Dulce and Afro Nation Puerto Rico
March 11 – 13 & 18 – 2, Feria Agrícola Nacional del Valle de Lajas
The National Agricultural Fair of the Lajas Valley takes place over the weekends of March 11 to 12 and March 16 – 20. This fun family event is a drive through safari where visitors can explore the animals, crops, farm equipment and more. Prices start at $35 fir a car with 4 people.

March 19 – 20. Festival de la China Dulce / La Ruta de La China Dulce, Las Marias
Annual town festival showcasing the town’s orange crops. Along with oranges there will be live music, artisans, food and family activities. The fun starts at 9am at the town’s Public Plaza
March 24 – 26, Afro Nation Puerto Rico, Carolina
Afrobeats music festival taking place at the Balneario Carolina (Carolina Beach), Carolina. Live music, food and more throughout the 3 day event. More info on faceBook https://www.facebook.com/AfroNation.US

March 17 – 20: Orchid Exhibition, Caguas
The Puerto Rican Orchid Society, Inc will be hosting an Orchid Xxhibition at the Caguas Botanical Gardens.Local vendors with be showcasing and selling a large variety of orchids along with artisans and food stalls The event runs from 9am- 6pm and you can find out more on Facebook page
March 27, Mercado Ballajá, Old San Juan
Taking place on the last Sunday of each month in the Ballajá Barracks and surrounding areas, the Mercado Ballajá features around 100 local artisans showcasing and selling their works. The market runs from 10am to 5pm
