The latest Puerto Rico Executive Order for COVID-19 restrictions goes into effect on March, 2022
The Governor of Puerto Rico has issued his latest Executive Order EO-2022-019 regarding COVID-19 Mandates wgich goes into effect on March 10, 2022. The main take away from this latest order, is that COVID-19 restrictions on the whole have been listed. Below is a summary of the latest excecutive order
- Masks are notno longer required required for indoor spaces or outdoor spaces. If the vaccination status is not known for indoor gatherings then wearing a mask is a recommendation.
- Per Federal / CDC mandates, masks are still required to be worn at airports.
- Masks are required for facilities such as hospitals, emergency rooms, nursing homes, medical offices, health centers, laboratories, and pharmacies.
- For private and public establishments, the owners can implement their own measures, including mask wearing.
- There is no longer a capacity limit for businesses and the requirement to check vaccination status / negative COVID test has been removed.T
- For hotels, lodges etc. the requirement to check for vaccination status / negative COVID test has been removed.
- Cruise ship passengers no longer have to present proof of vaccination or negative COVID test
- Domestic airline passengers no longer have to present proof of vaccination / negative COVID test and they also no longer have to complete the travelers declaration information
All the above go into effect March 10, 2022
