On Saturday, June 2, 2018, the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico (MAPR) will hold its most important fundraising event; the twenty-first edition of its annual Gala.
This year for the first time, the Gala will be held at the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico where guest will be able to enjoy the beauty of the building and its surroundings.
The XXI Gala at the Museum was declared a cultural heritage of the Puerto Rican people in 2017, and it will allow guests the opportunity to enjoy first hand the collection of Puerto Rican art housed at the museum, while contributing to its preservation and the advancement of its artistic mission.
2017 presented great challenges for Puerto Rico and the Museum. However, in times of need and emergency the MAPR led the rescue efforts and sought protection and stability of its collections and those of institutions that needed it.
Today, more than ever, the MAPR needs your support and sponsorship. Each contribution is a stroke, with a new color, in this great work that together we created in favor of Puerto Rican culture and art.
